In our experience, one set of our extensions lasts nine months to a year. Most clients move through three or four move-up appointments in that time, and we reinstall the same hair at each one. Two things decide where you land in that range. The install has to match your hair, and you have to keep your move-ups every 6 to 8 weeks.

Your natural hair also has to be healthy enough to carry a set. If it came to us dry, over-processed, or breaking from box color, we'll say so at your consultation. We won't install over it and hope. A healthy base holds a set longer, and more comfortably, than a compromised one.

- Map the rows again against your new growth and your density now. Your hair has changed since the last install, so the map changes with it.
- Reinstall the same hair back up where it belongs.
- Refresh your color if it needs it, done by the same specialist in that appointment.
You leave with the blend you had on install day. That's the whole point.
